We are currently working on electrical and plumbing which should be done in the next couple weeks and have completed all major framing work! It still has the exposed beam look, but not for much longer! :-D

For those of you who may be looking at the building update I have been posting and wondering "Is this whole building just for TerraVie?" Well, the answer is "No, TerraVie does not quite need that much space." TerraVie Wellness will be joining forces with Queenpin Family Wellness this coming Fall! It has been a long time coming, but we are merging our visions and creating a House of Wellness to serve the Roanoke Community ❤️ "What will it include?" Queenpin will be moving her Herb Shop and Acupuncture practice AND opening a brand new Community Acupuncture Clinic on the Main Floor! TerraVie will continue to offer Massage Therapy and will begin doing Nutritional Consultations! Last but not least, TerraVie will be opening a Nutritional Eco Café on the Main Floor of our building!!! More to come! Stay tuned for updates :-D

TerraVie now has suggestion slips available at the office.  We are here to serve you so your thoughts are very important to me! What are some ways I can make TerraVie better?  Do you have any cool ideas for services, events, workshops, classes that you may be interested in?

Some of what I have been thinking about...

1. Documentaries!
I love documentaries and really, as far as movies are concerned, they are all I watch! I showed a documentary of the The Truth about Cancer back in April and have been wanting to continue however availability and time commitment can be difficult to come about.  I am nonetheless looking to start up documentary screenings again during the upcoming cold Winter months. Any thoughts? Any documentary you may like screened?

2. Classes
I would love to offer regular Mindfulness, Meditation, Yoga, and Nutrition classes.  I have several friends who are skilled in these modalities and am considering asking them if they could hold regular classes for TerraVie.  Are you interested?

3. Workshops
​Wellness is comprehensive.  Reaching optimal wellness requires that many aspects of our health to be addressed holistically, but most importantly, Wellness begins with education.  Each and everyone of us needs to become empowered so that we may begin to make health care decisions that values our well-being and truly addresses the roots cause of our discomfort.  Workshops are designed to give us a direct experience through in depth exposure of course work in a topic of interest.  What workshops would you been interested in?

Going through this life I have come to realize that no matter what situation I am in, 
The best thing to do is just BE ME. 
At times I question whether I should adjust my thought process or behavior to please rather close minded individuals who may not be accepting of who I truly am, checking in with myself I say "Naw... I can't have them miss out on experiencing who I am! Lol",
The best thing to do is just BE ME.
How do I go about taming my wildest dreams and grand ideas that go beyond what a rational mind may think is possible? 
I take a look at this world I live in and decide.... Actually,
The best thing to do is just BE ME. 
So many expectations to meet, as passing glances seek confirmation that I have conformed to the imaginary set of guidelines I must somehow follow or risk to be labeled a misfit, an outcast, a weirdo ... Well I guess I will take that risk because I still come to the same conclusion that,
The best thing to do is just BE ME.
And pondering all this I thought, how wonderful would it be if YOU could also just BE YOU? 
I would love to meet you, maybe we could be friends and learn how to LOVE one another for who we TRULY ARE. 
Wishing for a more AUTHENTIC WORLD.
